We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager for a 6-month contract with one of our key customers, based on-site in the Sydney CBD.
You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure successful execution and delivery in a hypercare environment, applying your proven project management experience in a dynamic environment.
You will contribute to the customer's business strategy and direction, ensuring that objectives and business goals are met. You bring a wealth of experience in successfully delivering IT projects in an SME environment and have conducted end-to-end delivery with a team of consultants.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- To project manage the execution of a Public Cloud SAP project, including project planning, tracking, and oversight, to ensure project(s) are completed on schedule and within budget
- Prepare and monitor installation schedules and timelines, resulting in on-time and on-budget delivery to our customer
- Manage, interact with, and, if necessary, direct all relevant project consultants to ensure all customer expectations and agreed deliverables are met
- Manage the processes associated with an effective and functional document control system, including but not limited to project management hand-over, administration, documentation, customer support, and project closures
- Facilitate regular, aggregated internal project progress reporting
- Liaise and negotiate with all relevant BPOs of our customer regarding contractual requirements
- Communicate clearly and professionally, and demonstrate the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in project management, ideally with a minimum of ten years in the delivery of medium-scale, complex IT projects
- SAP experience required — ideally in the public cloud environment
- Demonstrated experience managing projects, performing project planning, tracking, and oversight to ensure project(s) are completed on schedule and within budget
- Experience working with productivity and methodology tools that increase project efficiency and effectiveness
- Exemplary communication, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills to interact with all relevant stakeholders on a technical and non-technical level to build successful relationships
- Good human relations and leadership skills to train, guide, motivate, and mentor the work of project personnel
