Where the team fits in
The role sits within the Customer Enablement tribe in the Customer Marketplace Portfolio of Customer Product & Experience group. The tribe manages the platform and data that powers the best customer experiences. This tribe is on a mission to provide a high quality view of our customers to enable delivery of superior value to them. The tribe is accountable for different customer experiences like onboarding, contract management, managing agency and profile information while supporting sales flows. This tribe is also Data owner and publishes foundational dataset making it easily accessible to draw insights and decisions.
The Customer Enablement tribe’s focus is on the development of our Salesforce ecosystem to provide enhanced Sales capabilities to our Australian businesses. This includes customer marketing activities and the integrations necessary for our Salesforce platforms to communicate with other internal & external systems.
As a Salesforce Engineer, you will build innovative Salesforce solutions and integration capabilities, leveraging Salesforce and AWS technologies to solve complex problems and enhance our product offerings. You will be responsible for delivering against the product roadmap by refining technical solutions, maintaining engineering quality, and meet organizational objectives.
What the role is all about
- Design and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
- Support system health and engineering compliance within Salesforce architectures.
- Promote engineering excellence via best practices such as CI/CD pipelines, secure coding, TDD, and automated testing frameworks.
- Align Salesforce development with REA standards and integration strategies.
- Contribute to broader strategic business cases by leveraging Salesforce and AWS capabilities.
- Support cross-functional collaboration with teams utilizing Salesforce systems, ensuring cohesive service delivery.
- Evaluate and respond to critical technical challenges and objectives
Who we’re looking for
- 3-5+ years delivering complex Salesforce solutions in agile environments
- Expert-level Apex, Lightning (Aura & LWC), integration patterns (REST/SOAP, platform events), asynchronous processing and Salesforce security model.
- Proven experience establishing and running CI/CD pipelines, version-control strategies and automated testing frameworks for Salesforce and AWS workloads.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architectural patterns, governor limits and multi-cloud integration best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ or other revenue-generating clouds highly regarded.
- Nice to have: Salesforce Application/System Architect or Platform Developer II certification, AWS certifications, and familiarity with Design Systems or Web Components outside Salesforce.
