Healthcare Australia (HCA) is a major provider of healthcare services across Australia, including allied health, primary care, recruitment, NDIS, care services, and training.  

In December 2024, we commenced providing health, mental health and wellbeing services across the onshore Immigration Detention network.  Our team, which includes nurses, general practitioners, and allied health professionals, offer a wide range of healthcare services to detainees, such as triaging, medication, wound management, immunisation, and other clinical procedures.  HCA also introduced a Virtual Care Centre (VCC), a 24/7 service that provides remote healthcare through telehealth and video consultations, helping to enhance onsite care for detainees.

We’re looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our collaborative team and help design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions for healthcare workflows.

We are seeking a talented Salesforce Developer with expertise in building scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions tailored to the healthcare industry, with a focus on Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Omnistudio, and a deep understanding of workflows and compliance requirements in healthcare environments. Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and healthcare data interoperability is highly desirable.

What You'll Do

• Develop custom Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, and Omnistudio.

• Integrate Salesforce with EMRs (e.g., Epic, Cerner) using HL7, FHIR APIs, and middleware.

• Create user-friendly experiences for clinicians and care teams using Omniscripts.

• Ensure secure, compliant handling of sensitive health data.

• Support CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Copado), troubleshoot system issues, and maintain documentation.

What You Bring

• Strong experience with Salesforce development in healthcare or regulated industries.

• Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Omnistudio, and integration tools.

• Knowledge of FHIR/HL7 and healthcare data security.

• Familiarity with GitHub, Bitbucket, Copado, or similar tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.

• Background working with EMRs like Epic or Cerner.

• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, Health Cloud).
