The Job:

Working as a Sales Representative you will be part of our Victoria Field Sales Team, based in the Melbourne metro area. Your key focus in this role, will be to manage a portfolio of open market customers to achieve revenue and margin targets.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Driving team sales performance and delivering on revenue and margin targets.
  • Leading team margin expansion initiatives.
  • Executing key customer growth plans to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Developing and nurturing customer relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Driving key strategic initiatives and identifying new category growth opportunities
  • Executing price rise processes efficiently and effectively.
  • Managing Excess and Obsolete inventory to deliver results.
  • Preparing and presenting powerful, persuasive sales presentations to demonstrate the value proposition of Stanley Black & Decker and our products

You will also have:

  • Advanced communication and influencing skills gained in a sales environment.
  • A track record of successfully winning new business and maintaining key accounts.
  • The ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High computer literacy, including experience using MS Office, particularly PowerPoint & Excel, CRMs, and iPads/Tablets.
  • The ability to travel overnight approximately 6 nights a month (
  • Experience in our industry or similar is desirable but not essential.
