Responsibilities

Your impact and responsibilities:

 

Daimler Truck Financial Services has a new and exciting 12 month opportunity for a motivated and driven Sales Operations Intern.  Based at our Head Office in Mulgrave, and working in our Sales and Marketing team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Sales Operations Manager, DTFS Key Account Managers, Business Development Managers and all other operational staff, as well as external stakeholders, in developing and administering effective processes and procedures that ensures achievement of sales targets. These positions are full time hours for a period of 12 months, with real work and real learning opportunities for those starting their careers or finishing their formal education. 

 

 

Reporting into the Senior Sales and Operations Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Support with document and contract preparation
  • Assist with quoting support and pricing
  • Reporting on a regular and ad hoc basis for special requests
  • Support monthly invoicing activities
  • Assist with Customer queries
  • In-put towards continuous process improvement to ensure operational success and optimal customer satisfaction
Qualifications

What we are looking for:

 

The successful candidate will have some interest and possibly some previous intern experience within the financial services industry or fleet operations, and have a desire to grow and expand your knowledge in this field. Your administration skills, an eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines is important for success. Your ability to learn, communicate well and desire to support customers, solve problems and seek out ways to innovate within this role will hold you in good stead also. Most of all, you will be passionate about starting your career with a global financial services company, where you are able to learn, grow and develop whilst discovering and exploring your own potential.
