The role & it's impact:
In this role you will be a key contributor in providing the rapid analysis and high-quality reporting that our global sales organisation relies on to make informed decisions. Your work ensures that insights are accurate, timely, and delivered with a focus on detail that helps drive sales productivity across the business.
By managing analytics requests and quality-checking global dashboards, you will help make running a small business beautiful. You will support strategic initiatives and assist regional leads during busy cycles, ensuring our data tells a clear story. Your impact will be felt as you help translate complex datasets into actionable information that supports our mission of building a stronger global economy.
The team & how they connect:
You will join a collaborative and adaptable team of 4 that provides a holistic view of performance across all our regions. We work closely with managers and analytics leads to ensure everyone speaks the same data language. This team functions as a supportive hub, stepping in to help one another during critical planning cycles and sharing knowledge to stay at the forefront of data innovation.
Initially, you will focus on:
Integrating multi-product reporting for each market, specifically tracking sales pipelines and customer behaviour for new initiatives.
Supporting the go-to-market data tracking for new regulatory products and migrating sales tracking tools to ensure seamless execution.
Developing deep-dive forecasting cohorts for emerging markets and calculating complex rebates based on customer activity.
Evolving our reporting suite to move beyond data delivery into providing strategic recommendations that help sales teams identify the best opportunities for their partners.
Managing the end-to-end analytics request lifecycle, from capturing business requirements to delivering rapid-turnaround analysis that supports the immediate needs of our global sales leaders.
Where and how you can work:
At Xero, we offer a hybrid working model that balances the flexibility of working from home with the connection of in-office collaboration. You will have access to our modern office spaces and participate in boost days designed to bring the team together for brainstorming and socialising. We focus on results and communication, allowing you to manage your tasks across different time zones and regional contexts effectively.
Here are some of the things we are looking for:
You bring a high level of proficiency in SQL for extracting and manipulating data, combined with a natural curiosity to explore complex and diverse datasets.
You have a commercial mindset and understand how to measure success within a SaaS business model, ideally with direct experience within sales operations.
Your toolkit includes experience with Tableau or similar BI tools, allowing you to create interactive dashboards and diagnostic reports that convey information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
You possess the ability to pivot quickly between different projects, maintaining progress even when faced with incomplete information or ambiguous objectives.
You are a proactive collaborator who enjoys building relationships with central data teams and providing support to your peers during high-pressure cycles.
You demonstrate an aptitude for learning new technical skills and business contexts, with a focus on continual self-improvement and accountability.
Here at Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team so we encourage you to apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match!
