The Sales Engineer – Mixing is responsible for driving profitable and sustainable growth of the Mixing Solutions business by combining strong technical expertise with commercial and customer-focused capabilities.

The role will focus on developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing and prospective customers, and positioning NOV’s mixing solutions to address customer applications and operational requirements.

The successful candidate will collaborate with customers, sales teams, engineering, operations, and other internal stakeholders to develop technically appropriate and commercially competitive solutions while supporting the achievement of business growth and sales objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to drive profitable and sustainable growth of the Mixing Solutions business.
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers while building strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Understand customer applications, technical requirements, and operational challenges to recommend appropriate mixing solutions.
  • Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales cycle, including customer enquiries, solution development, proposals, presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Serve as a product and application resource for mixing technologies, providing technical guidance to customers and supporting internal and external sales teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and other internal functions to develop solutions that meet customer specifications, performance requirements, schedules, and commercial objectives.
  • Prepare and support technical and commercial proposals, including scope definition, costing, pricing, delivery requirements, and pre-contract negotiations.
  • Monitor market requirements, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities and support product positioning and market penetration.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting, business planning, pricing strategies, financial objectives, and periodic commercial reviews for the Mixing Solutions portfolio.
  • Coordinate effectively across sales, engineering, operations, marketing, and other functions to ensure successful execution of customer requirements and achievement of business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any technical domain.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in technical sales, applications engineering, business development, product management, or a related customer-facing technical role.
  • Mixing Solutions Experience: Demonstrated experience with mixing solutions, mixing equipment, or related industrial mixing applications.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer applications and translate technical requirements into practical and commercially viable solutions.
  • Commercial awareness with experience in customer relationship development, business opportunity identification, pricing, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, analytical, customer-focused, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and effectively within a multinational and matrixed organization.
