As part of our continued growth and expansion in Asia Pacific we have an immediate opening for an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in Australia. The role of the SDR is a critical part of the sales team. You’ll be working from a list of known target prospects, introducing our services and qualifying customer need. You’ll then work to arrange and manage follow on efforts from our field sales team in pursuit of the opportunity. Working alongside senior experienced sales teams this is an opportunity to grow and develop complex sales skills and strategies in a high value B2B market selling IT Services. 

Key Elements of the role 

  • Programmatically managing a territory  of known target clients to develop access strategies for penetrating the specific job roles and personas related to the services we provide using data sources to identify and connect with individuals in the target organisations. 
  • Executing outbound calls and outreach to develop prospects , hold the initial conversation on qualification of need, briefing the client on our value proposition and testing alignment. 
  • Support the sales team in arranging follow on meetings, managing the CRM system 
  • Quota carrying with key metrics around qualified lead volume
  • The role is fully remote, but the person must be based in Australia

Attributes and Talents

  • Experience in inside sales in IT Services is strongly preferred, with a track record of attainment to goals and KPIs 
  • 2-4 years sales experience in similar related roles, in outbound environments. 
  • Self directed, ability to work programmatically, with excellent communications , planning, and phone skills to articulate effectively. 
  • Exposure to SAP or Oracle products would be advantageous. 
  • Excellent English language skills required.
