About the Role

We’re hiring the best of the best sales professionals - people who are passionate about their craft and ready to thrive within our elite sales organisation.

You bring the perfect mix of experience, intuition, ambition, and teamwork. You’re quota-driven but grounded - confident, positive, humble, and resilient enough to handle rejection and bounce back fast.

You’re organised, articulate, and comfortable making phone calls and having high-level, professional conversations with C-suite stakeholders across medium to large organisations. You adapt quickly, learn fast, and feel at home in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrate leadership, effective sales planning, and collaboration with internal partners and external customers
  • Meet (and aim to exceed) monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Partner effectively across sales teams to drive results
  • Be the go-to expert on Abnormal AI’s product offering
What you will bring
  • 6 months to 1+ years of proven experience as a Business Development Rep, Sales Account Executive, or similar role (less experience is fine if you’ve got the right drive)
  • Ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
  • Strong understanding of customer pain points and how to translate them into business value
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while hitting goals
  • Drive, grit, and a team-first mindset - you love to compete and win
  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Bonus Points
  • Experience with tools like:

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
