Lead and grow Podium’s Australia-based SDR sales team, reporting to the Head of Sales, own the full-funnel sales motion — from outbound strategy to pipeline creation and closed-won revenue — while coaching and developing a team of 13 Sales Development Representatives across key verticals. 

Duties

  • Lead and coach a team of 13 SDRs to hit monthly KPIs across outreach, pipeline and revenue

  • Drive outbound strategy and execute vertical-specific acquisition plans

  • Develop team capability through training, 1:1s and embedded sales best practices

  • Collaborate with Marketing, CX and Partnerships to optimise go-to-market motion

  • Forecast and report performance metrics to local and global leadership


Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience leading and scaling high-velocity SaaS or sales teams

  • Track record of hiring, developing and retaining top sales talent

  • Strong coaching ability — comfortable on calls, in training sessions and in 1:1s

  • Data-driven mindset; confident analysing metrics and identifying improvement areas

  • Experience with SMB-focused or verticalised sales teams (highly regarded)
