This role is responsible for the east metropolitan area of Melbourne (areas such as Dandenong, Berwick, Pakenham [including other suburban areas] & country areas to the east in Gippsland), Victoria. This is a permanent, full-time position.
POSITION PURPOSE
As our new Primary Care Sales Representative, you will build strong relationships with customers in primary care (GPs) across the territory in Victoria to drive adoption of Lilly’s Cardio Metabolic health portfolio in the territory of Vic East and meet the needs of patients.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES/ACCOUNTABILTIES
- Developing strong, long-term relationships with Key Customers in the primary care (GPs) environment
- Achieving sales targets by promoting products to targeted customers
- Working with the highest ethical standards and integrity
- Developing & maintaining excellent knowledge of disease area, products, competitors, and market developments in the relevant disease state area
- Developing detailed territory business plans, based on territory analysis, to meet the planned objectives within a geographic area comprising of community business
- Developing specific territory action plans for key customers
- Identifying & offering multi-channel solutions that are the most meaningful to the customer and align with what the Lilly portfolio can deliver
- Leading the organisation and running of specific education initiatives (e.g. speaker meetings, webinars, etc.) to address customer needs and promote our products
- It is an expectation of this role that there will be travel in territory to service customers and attend business meetings. Interstate travel may be required from time to time.

- The role requires a high level of expertise of the community environments, including the flow of patients.
- Collaborating with colleagues across teams (Lilly or external) will be required in building the right networks and adding value to our customers.

Prior Knowledge or Experience - desirable:
- Prior experience and demonstrated skills in a sales or account management role is highly desirable
- Tertiary qualification in biomedical science, pharmacology, business, marketing, or a related field is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to use technology effectively to meet administrative and compliance requirement
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in science, pharmacy, nursing or business
