What you'll experience in the program

Over 12 months, you'll complete two rotations across different areas of the university, giving you the opportunity to explore, develop new capabilities and discover where you can make the greatest impact.

You bring your curiosity, ideas and energy.

We'll provide hands-on experience, meaningful work, dedicated coaching, professional development and exposure to senior leaders across RMIT. You'll build skills, relationships and confidence while contributing to projects that create real value for our students, staff and community.

You don't need prior corporate experience. We're looking for people with potential, curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to learn.

Pay, benefits and extras
  • Starting salary of $80,943 plus 17% superannuation

  • Option to purchase up to six weeks of additional leave

Eligibility

To be eligible for the 2027 RMIT Graduate Program, you must:

  • Be a final-year RMIT student or an RMIT alumnus who has graduated within the past two years

  • Have completed a diploma, advanced diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate qualification

  • Be available to work full-time from February 2027 to February 2028

  • Meet one of the following Australian working rights criteria:

    • Australian or New Zealand citizen; or

    • Australian permanent resident; or

    • Hold a temporary visa with unrestricted work rights at the commencement of the program and valid for at least 12 months (e.g. Temporary Graduate, secondary 457/TSS, provisional Partner visa)

Please note: Applications are also open to candidates currently on a Student Visa, provided they will hold an unrestricted visa that is valid at the commencement of the program.
