Provides strategic and operational leadership to RMIT's Engagement Portfolio, serving as chief of staff and trusted adviser to the Vice-President Engagement. Leads strategic initiatives, cross-functional programs, governance, planning, risk management, reporting, budgeting, and continuous improvement. Manages a small team, supports senior stakeholder coordination, and strengthens portfolio systems, processes, and delivery outcomes.

Academic faculty member responsible for teaching, research, industry engagement, and academic leadership in communication and network engineering. The role covers telecommunications systems, network security, wireless and space communications, 6G, software-defined radios, RF systems, signal processing, embedded systems, and research testbeds. Conduct research on the cultural, social, and economic outcomes of coastal wetland restoration for Traditional Custodian communities. Responsibilities include literature reviews, stakeholder engagement, surveys, interviews, focus groups, qualitative analysis, indicator development, monitoring and evaluation, ethics applications, and preparation of reports and publications. The researcher will co-design culturally appropriate methodologies, support community-led research, collaborate with multidisciplinary partners, and travel within Queensland for fieldwork and engagement activities.

Sessional teaching opportunities are available in RMIT’s School of Law from February 2027. Duties may include teaching, marking, online teaching for eligible Victorian-based staff, and potentially casual research.
