Lead RMIT’s RACE and RAIL digital research infrastructure programs, managing multidisciplinary specialists and partnerships with researchers, technology providers, government agencies, and industry. Provide executive-level advice on cloud, advanced computing, AI, data services, strategy, investment, and policy. Translate complex technical concepts into research solutions, build strategic collaborations, and foster high-performance, inclusive teams that enable data-intensive and translational research outcomes.

Leads RMIT’s research data infrastructure agenda, developing frameworks, services, governance, metadata standards and scalable storage solutions across the research lifecycle. Partners with researchers, technology teams, the Library, governance leaders and external stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant and interoperable cloud, hybrid and preservation environments. The role also drives strategic initiatives, supports responsible AI practices, aligns services with FAIR and CARE principles, and influences university-wide change.

Build and manage strategic partnerships across government, community services, not-for-profit, industry, and workforce development sectors. Identify shared challenges, interpret sector trends, develop opportunity pipelines, and support collaborative tenders, funded initiatives, service agreements, and projects. The role requires executive-level relationship building, negotiation, influencing, sector knowledge, and independent management of complex priorities to create sustainable social and workforce outcomes.

Provide technical support and maintenance for electrical, plumbing and refrigeration facilities within the College of Vocational Education. Maintain equipment and facilities to industry and educational standards, follow OHS requirements, work individually and in teams, and support campus-based practical teaching environments on a casual, as-required basis.

Coordinate and administer the START program projects within RMIT's Enabling Services Reform team. Support planning, tracking, documentation, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement to keep project milestones on track in a collaborative on-campus environment.

Coordinate and support planning, monitoring and execution of School projects. Maintain trackers, action plans, status reporting and project documentation. Prepare reports and governance papers for senior leaders, coordinate stakeholders to deliver actions on time, and use SharePoint and project tools to build trackers, dashboards and repositories. Support compliance and higher-education initiatives and assist with governance and stakeholder communication.

Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the Executive Director and Senior Leadership Team within Property Services. Manage calendars, correspondence, documents, committee secretarial duties, records systems, and stakeholder liaison while ensuring confidentiality and excellent customer service across campuses.

Lead end-to-end category management and strategic supplier relationships. Develop and implement category plans, sourcing pipelines, and go-to-market initiatives to deliver cost improvements, manage risk, improve supplier performance, and advise senior stakeholders.

Plan, coordinate and deliver student, industry and college-wide events across STEM College. Manage logistics, communications, marketing collateral, databases and reporting. Liaise with academic teams, industry partners and stakeholders, provide practical advice, and improve event processes while working flexibly including occasional outside hours and physical event duties.

Lead enterprise architecture for core operational platforms (Finance, HR, Property, GRC, research). Define target-state architectures, roadmaps, standards and reference architectures; provide technical leadership and governance; guide solution architects; engage senior stakeholders to align IT with business strategy and enable enterprise transformation.

Deliver and assess vocational electrical and instrumentation courses, supervise students, apply competency-based assessment, maintain current industry competence, diagnose and support student learning needs, and meet mandatory pre-employment checks (Working With Children and National Police Checks). Requires vocational teaching and electrical trade qualifications or current enrolment in those certificates.

Lead QA activities for project/program delivery in a hybrid Melbourne role. Provide hands-on testing, defect management, reporting, risk communication, stakeholder engagement, and enablement to grow QA capability. Work in governance-heavy environments and collaborate with delivery squads to improve quality outcomes.

Provide strategic leadership, creative vision and operational oversight for RMIT Galleries. Lead exhibitions, public engagement, partnerships, funding, and integration with research, learning and teaching. Manage people, budgets, risk, compliance and gallery operations to strengthen institutional reputation nationally and internationally.

Manage preparation and administration of employment contracts, renewals, promotions, honorary appointments and other employment documentation for executive, academic, professional and TAFE staff. Provide compliant advice on contract, policy and visa/work-rights matters, support direct appointments, recruitment/onboarding system testing, end-user training and process improvements. Partner with People & Culture teams and stakeholders to ensure approvals and documentation meet compliance requirements.

Provide senior academic leadership for the Nursing discipline: set strategic direction, ensure program quality and accreditation readiness, grow research engagement and partnerships, lead and support academic staff, contribute to teaching, research supervision, governance and external engagement to improve student and workforce outcomes.

Develop, maintain and support enterprise Salesforce applications using Apex, triggers, flows and Lightning Web Components. Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, participate in CI/CD and DevOps practices, perform platform maintenance and patching, and work with Service, Sales and Marketing Cloud and eCommerce integrations to reduce support volume and improve user experience.

Design, develop and support MuleSoft-based integration solutions and APIs. Collaborate with stakeholders, lead integration design and requirements, implement web services, perform integration/system testing, document solutions, and support operational delivery within Agile/DevOps practices.

Fixed-term four-year Indigenous research fellowships at RMIT across Regenerative & Sustainable Futures, MedTech Innovation, and Digital Innovation. Applicants (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) with a PhD will lead and contribute to high-quality, transdisciplinary research, build teams and networks, manage partnered projects, engage industry and the public, and translate research into societal, environmental and economic impact. Fellowships provide research support funding and are based at RMIT Melbourne campuses.

A 12-month graduate program with two rotations across university teams. Participants undertake meaningful projects (digital transformation, data, student experience), receive coaching, structured development, mentoring and exposure to senior leaders. No prior corporate experience required; program seeks curious, adaptable recent graduates available full-time Feb 2027–Feb 2028.
