What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in risk management, compliance, assurance or internal/external audit within an ASX-listed or large, regulated organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in controls testing, including assessing design and operating effectiveness against a controls standard or framework
  • Strong understanding of the Three Lines model and how Second Line assurance complements First and Third Line activities
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and the confidence to provide constructive challenge to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing reports and presentations for Executive and Board audiences using Microsoft Office
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce or Law (desirable), casino or gaming industry experience (highly regarded), and the ability to obtain a VGCCC Casino Special Employee Licence

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
