Provide reinsurance accounting support: prepare quarterly reinsurance accounts, process payments (including foreign currency), chase facultative and excess-of-loss claims, post accounting entries, and reconcile reinsurance modules to the general ledger.
Main duties will include:
- Assist in preparation of quarterly reinsurance accounts
- Assist with payments to reinsurers
- Follow up with chasing of facultative and excess of loss reinsurance claims
- Posting of entries in the Accounting system
- Reconcile reinsurance modules to General Ledger
- Initiate and process and follow up on foreign currency payments
Qualifications and Experience:
- Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
- Experience in reinsurance department or reinsurance accounting will be a definite advantage
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be a team player
- Be attentive to details and able to work under pressure
- Be conversant with MS Office Tools
