Based in Melbourne, this senior sales professional will own a portfolio of key strategic accounts across the Southern region (VIC), including enterprise organisations of 5,000+ employees and government entities.

This is an amazing opportunity for a sales professional who has a history of completely dominating their territory and who wants to make an impact on building the next iconic cloud security company. You are an expert at mapping business solutions to the most complex security challenges of customers. You understand the competition and have the desire to win market share.

Responsibilities include:
  • Prospect new accounts, generate interest, qualify, develop, and close new business across the Southern region's key enterprise (5,000+ employee) and government accounts.
  • Work independently to meet and exceed revenue targets and goals assigned to the territory.
  • Build and maintain structured account and territory plans, including org/power charts, for all key strategic accounts.
  • Apply MEDDPICC qualification discipline to prioritise opportunities and de-risk the pipeline.
  • Identify, build, test, and leverage champions within customer buying committees to drive consensus and accelerate deal cycles.
  • Deliver Netskope's New Business Meeting (NBM) narrative and lead Proof of Value (POV) engagements, aligning technical decision criteria to business outcomes.
  • Negotiate and close at the Economic Buyer level, balancing commercial terms to protect margin and timeline.
  • Maintain accurate monthly forecasting (commit, upside, pipeline) and provide reliable visibility to sales leadership.
  • Stay current on Netskope's AI product portfolio and use AI tools to improve personal productivity and customer conversations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Channel, and Marketing to progress and close opportunities.
  • Focus on new account acquisition alongside customer satisfaction and retention within the existing account base.
Job Requirements:
  • 10+ years of a successful track record selling cybersecurity and networking technologies, including network security technologies such as Proxies, Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW), SSL/IPSec, VPNs, SSO, DLP and Encryption gateways, and growing a territory.
  • Senior sales professional with a strong personal network across enterprise and government accounts in the Southern region (VIC); pre-existing customer relationships preferred.
  • Current or recent experience at a competing security, networking, or SASE/SSE vendor strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional track record of success with consultative sales of complex enterprise software solutions to C-level executives and Economic Buyers in F1000 and large public sector accounts.
  • Verifiable track record of exceeding quota year after year, with strong forecasting discipline.
  • Demonstrated fluency in modern enterprise sales methodology, including MEDDPICC, champion-based selling, and structured POV execution.
  • Experience establishing and fostering strong Channel Partner relationships; pre-existing relationships with key resellers in the Southern region is a must.
  • Experience selling into government/public sector accounts, including familiarity with public sector procurement processes, is highly regarded.
  • Understanding of enterprise web technologies and SaaS experience is a must.
  • Resides in Melbourne, with travel within the Region where required.
Education:
  • Bachelor Degree

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
