Recruitment and Sourcing Business Partner

Our capability allows us to offer turnkey solutions for complex projects and spans every project phase, from design and manufacture to through-life-support, condition monitoring and data analytics, to fleet maintenance, operations, and comprehensive overhaul of assets.

 We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Recruitment & Sourcing Business Partner to be a part of our growing team. This role can be based in either our North Ryde, Brisbane CBD or Melbourne CBD office.

The Recruitment & Sourcing Business Partner will provide specialist recruitment support to multiple stakeholders across Downer Rail & Transit Systems (RTS). Acting as a trusted subject matter expert, the role will deliver compliant, efficient and effective end-to-end talent acquisition expertise.

Role: 

You will support recruitment across a broad portfolio of operational, technical, trade-based, engineering and professional positions. You will provide high-quality stakeholder support to secure talent to meet current and future workforce requirements across RTS.

• Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies.
• Deliver a high-quality recruitment service to candidates, hiring managers, and key stakeholders, ensuring the timely attraction, sourcing, workforce planning, recruitment, mobilisation, and onboarding of employees across Downer Rail & Transit Systems (RTS).
• Provide regular market insights to stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the recruitment process.
• Support RTS’s commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workforce through targeted talent attraction initiatives, including Women on Track, Fast Track and emerging workforce development programs.
• Managing employment offers, remuneration discussions, and candidate negotiations.

Skills & experience:

• 5 years+ relevant industry related experience
• Worked for a large multi-disciplinary organisation
• Blue collar & white-collar recruitment experience
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
