Profile Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on QA / test engineering experience on enterprise technology programs, .
- Strong API test automation experience against Go or comparable microservices.
- Hands-on expereince in, Pytest, Puppeteer or Playwright you write automation, not only configure it.
- Demonstrable hands-on use of AI-native test tooling — AI-led test case generation, synthetic test data, .
- Test data management discipline: synthetic/masked data, PII handling, and compliance with LFS data classifications.
- Strong defect triage and root-cause analysis skills; comfortable operating under KPI gating for Sev 1/Sev 2.
- Strong written and spoken English;
- Desirable skills / nice to have
- Card issuing, payments, or core banking domain experience, Experience authoring test strategy artefacts for fixed-price, iteration-based delivery.
- Exposure to performance and resilience tooling (k6, JMeter, chaos testing) and security test integration (OWASP ZAP, SAST/DAST gates).
- Contributions to internal QA playbooks or AI-assisted testing standards.
- Pipeline integration experience with Buildkite (or equivalent) and test reporting into DatadogAble to work from the Outsourcey Manila facility on provisioned devices under LFS security standards.
Core responsibilities:
- Own the iteration test strategy and test plan aligned to the LFS PayTech Test Strategy.
- Design and build API-level automated tests using pytest framework (contract, integration, end-to-end).
- Drive AI-led test case generation, synthetic/masked test data generation, and risk-based test selection using approved test-automation AI tooling.
- Implement self-healing automation patterns where it materially reduces flake and maintenance effort.
- Own non-functional test coverage relevant to each service — performance smoke, resilience, and security test hooks — coordinated with LFS platform teams.
- Triage, reproduce, and own defects through resolution during iteration delivery and 2-week JSIT windows; enforce the no open Sev 1/Sev 2 KPI gate.
- Partner with the BA on acceptance criteria and with engineers on test hooks designed in, not bolted on.
- Feed iteration KPI reporting with test-quality signal (defect density, escape rate, automation coverage).
- Contribute to showcase demonstrations with clear, test-evidenced quality narratives.
