Let’s talk about this role

As a provider engagement consultant, your core responsibility is to facilitate a seamless and positive experience for our providers. Tasked with providing support and knowledge to our external provider community, you play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, validating ABNs, offering robust provider support, handling incoming and outgoing provider phone calls, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of our providers. Your expertise lies in being skilled in handling resolutions, escalations and providing support to providers.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Create an exceptional provider experience by navigating the intricacies of the NDIS landscape and provide helpful support to providers new to the industry

  • Fostering positive interactions with providers through effective communication

  • Ensuring accurate information is captured and recoded in the system

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with our providers

Let’s talk about you

While prior working knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is desirable, your exceptional written and verbal communication skills truly set you apart.

You have proven expertise in de-escalating situations and managing controlled conversations with professionalism and care. Your understanding of NDIS pricing arrangements further enhances your ability to navigate complex scenarios effectively.

With proficiency across multiple communication tools—whether it's phone, email, or video calls—you excel at building strong relationships and achieving desired outcomes. You've successfully handled high volumes of incoming calls, maintaining detailed and accurate notes within a CRM system.

Collaboration is at the heart of how you work, as you establish and maintain productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to engage effectively ensures that you consistently contribute to team and organisational success.

We’re always on the lookout for curious individuals who will add to the culture at nib Group – so if this role resonates with you, please apply!

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
