Job Description

As Project Manager, you will join a lean, agile team and manage the end‑to‑end delivery of Exploren Network Assets projects across VIC. This role is accountable for the full project and asset lifecycle - from early project development and planning through to design, construction, commissioning and handover.

  • Manage the planning and delivery phases of our Network Asset projects in accordance with Exploren Project Delivery Process
  • Prepare project scope of works, specifications, project schedules & cost estimates
  • Manage Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), cost, schedule and quality parameters associated with the delivery of these projects
  • Oversee site assessments, construction and commissioning, working directly with contractors and suppliers to resolve design and delivery issues while ensuring technical solutions meet safety, compliance, quality, schedule and customer requirements
  • Partner with Business Development Managers to provide project and technical input into opportunity pipelines, case studies and tender/marketing collateral
  • Stay current with EVSE product and technology innovations, relevant electrical and EV charging industry standards, and ensure full compliance with all Health, Safety and Environment requirements across projects and teams

Qualifications

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background delivering electrical infrastructure projects in large commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate brings proven experience managing complex projects or portfolios and may come from the EV charging sector or adjacent industries such as commercial buildings, solar PV, BESS, HVAC etc. You’ll be confident developing and owning core project deliverables, including scopes of work, technical specifications, schedules and cost estimates, to deliver safe, high‑quality outcomes.

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or a licensed electrician, with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desirable; White Card / HSE certification preferred
  • Solid understanding of capital and infrastructure project management frameworks and principles (PMBOK)
  • Project experience delivering LV power infrastructure (AC and DC systems), with demonstrated capability in identifying hazards, assessing risk and implementing effective project risk controls
  • Hands‑on experience with Health & Safety and project management tools (e.g. Safety Culture, Microsoft Project, Airtable, Jira, Confluence)
  • Working knowledge of Australian electricity networks (DNSP/TNSP) and applicable electrical design and safety standards including AS/NZS 3000, 3008, 61439, 3017 and 3760
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across stakeholders, fostering collaboration, building strong customer relationships and delivering solutions aligned to diverse audience needs
  • Experience developing or implementing continuous improvement initiatives aligned to quality management systems (ISO 9001)
