Duties will include: 

  • Lead in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring project feasibility.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans including project schedule, resource plan, communication plan, quality plan.
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget.
  • Perform all day-to-day coordination of resources and activities, as part of the project execution.
  • Monitor progress and bring adjustments as needed.
  • Manage the project team to foster a strong and collaborative group focused on successfully completing the project.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify, manage and monitor projects risks.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for the steering committees and escalate issues impacting on the projects.
  • Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project life-cycle.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

Technical and behavioural skills:

  • Excellent mastery of Project Management
  • Proficient with Project Management tools like Microsoft Project
  • Very good command of Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to communicate to all levels in    the organisation
  • A resilient go-getter able to stay focused and solve projects related challenges
  • Analytical and logical mindset
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a structured and organised manner
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • University degree in an IT related field
  • A practitioner-level certification in project management
  • A post-graduate degree in a management related field would constitute an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Project Manager role
