Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Project & Development Services team.
Reporting to the Director – PDS, this role will support the delivery of end-to-end client-side project management across a wide range of projects for government and private sector clients. You will manage capital works, fit-outs, refurbishments, new builds, building service upgrades, maintenance works and move management projects.
This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys working with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver quality project outcomes.

Job Description

Due to the nature of this role and client requirements, applicants must hold Australian citizenship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery across a range of property and construction projects.

  • Support capital works, fit-out, refurbishment, new build and maintenance programs.

  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, reporting and financials.

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, landlords, tenants and suppliers.

  • Lead assigned project teams and ensure actions are completed.

  • Support tender submissions, client presentations and business development activity.

  • Maintain strong client relationships and represent the PDS service line professionally.

  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement, workplace systems and project delivery standards.

About You

  • To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience in project management, construction, fit-out or refurbishment.

  • A sound understanding of commercial, industrial and/or retail property markets.

  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.

  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules and reporting.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organization skills.

  • Ability to work with consultants, contractors and suppliers.

  • Degree qualification in building surveying, project management or a construction-related discipline.

  • Professional accreditation or working towards RICS, COIB, AIPM, PMP or similar would be highly regarded.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
