Project Manager - Supply Chain & Operations

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Supply Chain and Operations initiatives across AMS. 

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise PMO & Continuous Improvement, this role will work closely with operational leaders to deliver practical improvements across processes, operating models, network optimisation, contractor management, warehousing and operational capability. 

This role suits someone who combines strong project delivery skills with practical operations experience and enjoys working with the business to deliver clear outcomes. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Supply Chain & Operations Improvement 

• Lead delivery of operational improvement initiatives from planning through to implementation. 

• Support initiatives across supply chain, logistics, warehousing, contractor management, network optimisation and operational capability. 

• Partner with operational leaders to identify improvement opportunities and develop practical solutions. 

• Drive operational standardisation through the implementation of best practice processes, controls, documentation and ways of working. 

• Map and optimise supply chain and warehouse operating models across locations to improve consistency, efficiency and scalability. 

• Promote a culture of safety by supporting initiatives that improve operational risk management, compliance and workplace safety outcomes. 

Project Delivery & Governance 

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and key milestones. 

• Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies and budgets. 

• Monitor delivery progress and keep initiatives on track. 

• Prepare clear and concise reporting for sponsors and governance forums. 

 Business Readiness & Stakeholder Management 

• Work with business leaders to ensure solutions are practical, sustainable and deliver business value. 

• Assess operational impacts and support implementation readiness. 

• Facilitate workshops, planning sessions and stakeholder discussions. 

• Build strong relationships across operational and corporate teams.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING 

Essential 

• 5+ years’ experience delivering business, operational or supply chain improvement initiatives. 

• Experience in operations, logistics, warehousing, field service or supply chain environments. 

• Strong project management and planning skills. 

• Experience managing multiple initiatives at the same time. 

• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills. 

• Ability to translate operational challenges into practical improvement initiatives. 

 Desirable 

• Experience with operating model design, process improvement or continuous improvement. 

• Experience in contractor, field service or network operations environments. 

• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent. 

• Experience using MS Project, Jira, Confluence and related delivery tools.
