Jetstar is building the future of airline pricing and retailing through cutting-edge technology. We're replacing legacy fare class systems with a sophisticated continuous pricing engine powered by data science and intelligent system integrations across our technology stack.

The Project Manager will be the orchestrator and delivery lead for this high-visibility program, coordinating multiple project streams from systems integration and data science to learning and development. You'll partner with Jetstar's Technology teams, Data Science, Third-party vendors, and Commercial teams to deliver a transformational capability that unlocks $30M+ in annual revenue.

This role is not just about delivering Phase I of Continuous Pricing technology. You'll work with senior leaders to define the strategic roadmap for Phase II, solving for GDS/interline integration and evolving the solution toward total revenue management. You'll help shape Jetstar's next decade of commercial pricing technology. You'll report into the Head of Pricing and Revenue Management and work with project leads and senior leaders to ensure delivery to ambitious timelines, maintain alignment across interdependent workstreams and drive successful project outcomes through disciplined execution, owning the financial performance of this project.

What you'll be accountable for:

  • Program Delivery & Timeline Management – Lead end-to-end delivery of continuous pricing implementation across multiple workstreams including systems integration, data infrastructure and learning and development. Own the project plan, drive accountability across project leads, and ensure on-time delivery against ambitious milestones. Coordinate interdependencies between Technology, Data Science, Commercial, and Vendor teams to maintain project momentum.
  • Cross-functional Coordination & Alignment – Ensure all project leads remain aligned on progress, dependencies, and deliverables. Facilitate regular coordination forums, resolve blockers proactively, and maintain clear visibility of project health across all workstreams. Bridge communication between technical and commercial stakeholders to drive unified outcomes.
  • Vendor & Partnership Management – Manage third-party vendor relationships, driving delivery accountability and resolving integration challenges. Coordinate technical escalations between Vendor teams, Jetstar Technology, Systems, Data Science and Market teams. Ensure vendor deliverables meet quality standards and timeline commitments.
  • Governance, Risk & Financial Management – Maintain governance forums, risk registers with mitigation solutions and dependency tracking. Own financial performance of the project, ensuring delivery to business case with limited scope creep through rigorous change control and prioritization. Define testing strategies, production readiness plans and operational handover protocols. Manage budget throughout project lifecycle and report progress transparently to senior leadership and steering committees.
  • Phase II Strategy & Roadmap Development – Work with senior leaders to define Phase II expansion pathway including GDS/interline decoupling and total revenue management capabilities. Lead discovery activities, collaborate with third-party vendors on architecture design and develop business cases for future phases.
  • Technical Collaboration & Data Infrastructure Enablement – Bridge Commercial, Data Science, and Technology teams to establish technical foundations including Snowflake architecture for analytics and model performance monitoring. Lead workshops and facilitate architecture reviews to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.

What you'll bring:

  • Program Delivery Excellence – 5+ years delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs involving technology transformation, system integrations, and cross-functional coordination. Proven track record of delivering to ambitious timelines while managing scope, budget, and quality. Experience with pricing systems, e-commerce, or revenue management technology highly regarded.
  • Stakeholder Management & Alignment – Exceptional ability to coordinate multiple project leads, ensure alignment across interdependent workstreams, and drive accountability for delivery. Strong facilitation skills to resolve conflicts, unblock progress, and maintain forward momentum across diverse teams.
  • Technical Fluency & Systems Understanding – Comfortable navigating technical discussions about system integrations, data pipelines, cloud platforms and architecture patterns. Ability to translate between technical and business language, understand technical constraints and make informed decisions about technical trade-offs.
  • Project Management Discipline – Strong command of project management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks. Experience with agile delivery, iterative releases and managing complex dependencies. Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and modern collaboration platforms.
  • Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving – Demonstrated experience defining roadmaps, conducting discovery, and building business cases. Ability to balance immediate delivery pressures with long-term platform evolution. Structured approach to complex problem-solving in ambiguous environments.
  • Qualifications – Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred. Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum Master) highly regarded. Technical background or experience in technology-driven environments advantageous.
