Purpose of Role:

Reporting to the Head of Business Improvement, the Project Manager is responsible for the establishment, development, and successful delivery of Energy initiatives across our Retail and Hotel businesses, specifically to:
Lead the implementation of the Energy Building Management System (BMS) for Dan Murphy's, and explore potential for roll-out across BWS and Hotels, on time and within budget
Ensure the project achieves targets for energy efficiency, temperature integrity, and system reliability
Partner with cross functional teams bringing multiple stakeholders across the business together to sustainably land this energy change.
Inspire, coach, support and develop supporting project team and business partners on best practices, ensuring that the overall team’s work-plan is delivered, with a pipeline of skills to support future team capability requirements.
An ability to work in an autonomous and self-paced environment, whilst still being collaborative and seeking help where needed

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
Manage project within the program to time, budget and quality
Manage dependencies and project integration
Manage multiple vendors and suppliers to deliver projects on time and inline with business case
Accountable for establishing and delivering benefits against business cases
Manage and report on project costs, including expenditure and expected future cost outlay to realise benefits
Gaining and sustaining confidence of business customers in facilitating decisions that involve inter-functional trade offs and risks
Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, constraints, assumptions and dependencies
Expeditious escalation of relevant issues via appropriate stakeholders and governance forums
Create and execute program plans, and evaluate trade-offs related to program size, complexity, cost, and stakeholder value.
Understand program level dependencies and business impacts to support decisions on prioritisation and sequencing of projects
Partner with business sponsors to define objectives and key results
Lead the deployment of control systems for retail, ensuring adherence to the EDG Controls Specifications.
Manage the transition from legacy systems to approved platforms.
Oversee the integration of remote monitoring portals
Review and approve "Point-to-Point" verification reports and commissioning lists submitted by contractors.
Coordinate complex integrations ensuring seamless handover between Refrigeration, HVAC, Lighting, and Security contractors.
Oversee the implementation of Lighting Control Schedules and other functionalities
Manage the "Network Connection" process, liaising with IT and Security teams to provision IP addresses and ensure controllers are successfully brought online and providing valid data.
Ensure critical security integrations are functional, such as the "Night Setback" activation when the store alarm is armed.
Ensure repairs and maintenance identified to maximise energy efficiency are managed and completed by our FM team
Now let’s talk about you:
Essential Experience:
Project Management Certification (Prince 2 / PMP /Agile)
5 years (minimum) experience in a Project Management role
Managed programs of works delivering benefits of $5m+
Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Led successful and sustainable implementations of energy programs within a commercial environment
Planning, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues with complexity and guide others in the resolution of problems
Graduate, bachelor degree in engineering, construction management or business.
Proven experience managing national or large-scale BMS rollouts.
Travel interstate and within state required
Desirable
Trained in Lean Six Sigma Methodology (Green or Black Belt).
Demonstrated Leadership experience
Strong Influencing skills
Good business acumen and horizontal collaboration capability
Retail or Hospitality Experience
Trade qualification in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning or Electrical Engineering
Ability to interpret complex wiring diagrams.
