As a Project Management Specialist (Workforce Planning) at Boeing, to be successful in the role you will have comprehensive, end-to-end project management expertise within a Workforce Planning, HR or Talent Acquisition environment, with the ability to manage multiple key projects in this area of the program. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across various business groups to conduct workforce planning, identify workforce risks and opportunities, and ensure the effective allocation of resources and capabilities.
What you'll get to do:
- Leading geographically dispersed, multi-disciplined teams for planning and execution of projects, with a focus in the Workforce Planning space.
- Managing all phases of assigned projects to successful and timely completion.
- Identification and management of Risk, Issues and Opportunities including proactive escalation of "Help needed".
- Regularly monitoring, controlling and reporting on progress to program leadership and senior stakeholders.
- Improving project management processes and business systems that support project decision makers.
- Engaging with project team to debrief on task deliverables and compile any lessons learned and corresponding corrective actions.
- Supports, coordinates and clarifies analysis with business partners to validate and scope the approach to meet long range business goals
- Collaborate with internal business areas and Talent Acquisition team to target talent gaps required for pipeline growth through the provision of support tools and specialist advice.
- Ensure sufficient time is planned to support business needs through onboarding, training, and deployment of a new workforce
- Leverage integrated planning and workforce information to enable business groups and project team to understand workforce implications resulting from changes in demand and supply at a tactical and strategic level.
Who we're looking for:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Project Management role.
- Experience running projects in the areas of Workforce Planning, HR or Talent Acquisition highly regarded
- Formal Project Management, Engineering, Business or Management qualifications is desired, however prior experience will be considered.
- High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in all project management areas and experience in managing projects to successful and timely completion.
- Drive and passion to grow capability, mentor and coach other PM professionals.
- Experience within the Defence Industry will be highly regarded
