What you'll be doing.
- Lead and manage plant engineering projects, including equipment installations, process improvements, and facility expansions, ensuring timely and effective project delivery.
- Develop and implement the site's 5-year capital plan with a focus on safety, obsolescence management, asset life extension, and driving technological innovation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly define project requirements, scope, deliverables, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create, monitor, and report on project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress, including conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments, and identifying solutions to overcome challenges.
- Supervise and technically support project teams to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and safety regulations; resolve project issues and bottlenecks promptly.
- Prepare detailed project documentation and reports; review and validate technical drawings and manuals; travel as needed to support project delivery and foster a culture of high service, proactive problem-solving, and respect.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Minimum 3-5+ years' project management and people leadership experience in FMCG with proven contractor, high-risk work, budget management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field).
- Strong initiative, prioritization, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
- Expertise in lean manufacturing (TPM, Six Sigma, MDI) and knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, advanced Excel, and Office 365; high computer literacy and analytical ability.
- Knowledge of energy and carbon reduction technologies; effective report writing and presentation skills.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) talent triangle skills to implement Project Management standards.
- PMP certification desirable.
