Bring your energy to Aggreko as Project Controls Lead based in Brisbane.
You’ll be is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing project controls frameworks across the renewable energy project portfolio, including hybrid power systems, thermal generation, solar PV, wind, and BESS assets. This role ensures robust cost management, schedule performance, risk oversight, and reporting to support safe, efficient, and on-time project delivery.

What you’ll do as [role]:
- Develop and implement integrated project controls systems, including cost control, scheduling, change management, risk management, and forecasting.
- Establish project baselines (scope, cost, schedule) and ensure alignment with contractual and internal requirements.
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, commitments, accruals, expenditure, and variance analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and analyse detailed project schedules, including critical path and progress measurement.
- Lead the development of project dashboards, progress reports, performance metrics, and executive-level reporting.
- Ensure alignment with governance frameworks, standards, and corporate project management methodologies.
- Coordinate with procurement and commercial teams to support contract administration and financial forecasting.
- Drive continuous improvement in project controls practices, tools, templates, and reporting methods.
You are:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Finance, or related discipline.
- 8–12+ years’ experience in project controls within power generation, renewable energy, mining, or major infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in cost control, estimating, scheduling, earned value management, and risk management.
- Proficiency with project controls tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI, SAP/ERP systems).
- Strong understanding of EPC, EPCM, and multi‑contract project environments.
- Experience supporting remote or hybrid renewable energy projects (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary project environments.
