Are you ready to get the Easygo Edge?

The Programmatic Lead is a key contributor and leader within the Programmatic & Partnerships team, reporting directly to the Programmatic & Partnerships Manager. This role sets the standard for programmatic advertising at Easygo, defining best practices, driving operational excellence, and owning the end-to-end programmatic ecosystem across campaign execution, technology, inventory, and data.

What you’ll build with us:

You will work closely with regional specialists, CRM and data teams, and external adtech partners to build scalable, high-performing programmatic infrastructure that supports Easygo's growth ambitions.

We know that innovation ignites when we build and create together, in person. This is a full-time opportunity at our Melbourne office. You’ll work right where it all happens, surrounded by our fearless crew shipping high-impact work.

Who is Easygo?

We’re a high-growth, high-velocity tech company with millions of eyeballs on us every day. We’re building the future of fearless tech. We’re the creators behind some of the most popular brands including Stake, KICK and Easygo Games. While they command a fierce global following, our crew is employed directly by Easygo and that’s where the real fun happens.

We’re always looking for people who are hungry, humble and move fast. People who are ready to Unify, Disrupt and Evolve with us.  With us you’ll grow faster and go further. Your work has impact. And that gives you an edge you can’t get anywhere else.

The impact you’ll make:

Operational Excellence

  • Own campaign architecture decisions — audience segmentation, deal prioritisation, frequency strategy, and bid management.
  • Collaborate with Regional Specialists to translate growth strategies into programmatic execution plans, ensuring consistent standards across markets.
  • Define and implement best-in-class campaign structures, trafficking standards, and naming conventions across all programmatic activity.

Optimisation & Performance

  • Establish and govern optimisation frameworks — setting benchmarks, aligning KPIs, and driving continuous improvement across growth strategies.
  • Assist in the maintenance of automated programmatic reporting to deliver regular performance insights to internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Oversee budget pacing, forecasting, and spend efficiency across all programmatic investment.

Inventory & Supply Quality

  • Govern inventory quality standards — curate allowlists/blocklists, enforce brand safety standards, and manage contextual targeting frameworks.
  • Build and manage Private Marketplace deals and SSP partnerships.
  • Lead evaluation and onboarding of new supply partners in alignment with business needs.

Adtech & Vendor Management

  • Own relationships with core adtech partners including DSPs, fraud protection providers, data providers, verification vendors (IAS, DoubleVerify), and measurement platforms.
  • Lead negotiations, QBRs, and platform roadmap discussions with key vendors.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and recommend new adtech solutions to maintain a best-in-class tech stack and operating structure.

Data, Audiences & Identity

  • Partner with CRM and data teams to activate addressable first-party audiences across programmatic channels.
  • Develop and govern audience segmentation strategy — prospecting, retargeting, suppression, and lookalike modelling.
  • Lead Easygo's response to identity and privacy changes (cookie deprecation, first-party data strategy, identity solutions such as UID2, RampID, or Publisher Provided Identifiers).

Innovation & Channel Development

  • Identify and pilot emerging programmatic channels and formats — including CTV/OTT, Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH), audio, and retail media — assessing fit for Easygo's audience and compliance framework.
  • Champion Dynamic Creative Optimisation (DCO) and collaborate with creative teams on format strategy to improve personalisation and performance.
  • Track industry trends and platform developments; bring forward strategic recommendations proactively.

Team Leadership

  • Currently responsible for managing and mentoring a programmatic coordinator, with intent to grow the team
  • Set clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development.
  • Act as the internal centre of excellence for programmatic knowledge — upskill stakeholders across the business through documentation, training, and thought leadership.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary programmatic point of contact for internal teams including Media, Analytics, Product, and Finance.
  • Partner with the Partnerships team to align programmatic investment with wider media and commercial partnerships.
  • Contribute to media planning and budget allocation discussions, providing programmatic forecasts and scenario modelling.
Your track record:
  • 5+ years of hands-on programmatic advertising experience, with at least 2 years in a lead, senior, or specialist role.
  • Deep expertise in major DSPs (The Trade Desk preferred) and ad verification tools.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic supply — SSPs, exchanges, deal types (PMP, PG, open auction), and inventory quality management.
  • Proven experience activating first-party data and CRM audiences in programmatic environments.
  • Solid grasp of digital measurement, attribution, and analytics; experience with tools such as GA4, Looker, Tableau or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with the evolving identity landscape and privacy regulations (GDPR, applicable regional laws).
  • Experience managing, coaching, or mentoring junior team members.
  • Highly analytical with a test-and-learn mindset.
  • Commercially minded — able to connect programmatic performance to business outcomes.
  • Strong communicator; confident presenting to senior stakeholders and managing external vendor relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven, while remaining adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with a passion for innovation in digital media.
Bonus points if you also have:
  • Passion for sports and entertainment

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
