Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dedicated employee for IT project management in the global environment of Magna Steyr. In this role, you will lead IT projects for the manufacturing of complete vehicles and collaborate with international stakeholders from various fields.
Your tasks
- IT project management within the scope of projects and programs for the manufacturing of complete vehicles
- Management of complex internal software and integration projects
- Leading, commissioning and managing project teams as well as lateral leadership of sub-project managers
- Creating project plans, IT calculations, resource planning, as well as capturing and documenting internal and external requirements (requirements engineering)
- Controlling and monitoring project progress (planned vs. actual comparison) and managing project budgets
- Presenting project results and progress to various stakeholders such as customers, program leaders and management
- Management of IT suppliers and collaboration with departments in other Magna divisions in an international environment
- Developing, implementing, optimizing and consulting on processes specifically tailored to the requirements of the automotive industry in vehicle manufacturing
Who we are looking for
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification - HTL/FH/(Technical) University
- Several years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the automotive industry, with a focus on vehicle manufacturing
- Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale IT projects
- In-depth knowledge in the field of software and requirements engineering
- Know-how in IT infrastructure and information and IT security is an advantage
- Proficiency in using project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Planview)
- Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Your preferred qualifications
- Proven ability to work effectively in an international environment with strong intercultural competence
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to assertively manage, effectively resolve conflicts and foster collaborative teamwork
