Build your career and Australia’s future.
Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.
We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Program Manager, reporting to the Senior Manager, Portfolio Planning.
A bit about your role
As a Program Manager you will lead the planning and delivery of complex, enterprise‑critical programs that underpin the Technology Enablement function and support broader SEO objectives.
You will act as a trusted partner to senior leaders—shaping program direction, establishing strong and pragmatic governance, and ensuring alignment to the nbn2030 strategy.
This role is accountable for orchestrating cross‑functional delivery at scale, providing clear visibility of value, risk, dependencies, and outcomes, while ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
You will also drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, uplift program maturity, and influence decision‑making to maximise strategic and commercial outcomes.
A bit about you
You are a highly experienced Program Manager with a proven track record delivering large, complex, multi‑stream programs, ideally within technology‑led or highly regulated environments such as telecommunications or enterprise platforms.
You bring strong capability across Agile and Waterfall delivery, with deep experience in governance, risk, financial management, and change, and are comfortable operating in hybrid delivery models.
You are able to balance strategic intent with operational execution, adapt confidently to shifting priorities, and lead through ambiguity. Demonstrated experience delivering ServiceNow or comparable enterprise platforms is highly desired.
Critically, you are a strong communicator and influencer, able to engage credibly with senior stakeholders, challenge constructively, and drive alignment and outcomes across diverse teams.
