Drive Growth Across ANZ as a Technical Sales Manager, Stock Preparation

Join us in a role where you will work closely with mills across Australia and New Zealand, helping customers improve performance through innovative stock preparation solutions. You will combine technical expertise with solution selling, build long-term customer relationships, and play a key role in developing new business opportunities. Your responsibilities
  • You will develop new business opportunities and build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers across the ANZ market.
  • You will identify customer needs and recommend stock preparation solutions, including refining, screening, cleaning, fiber recovery, and pulp handling technologies.
  • You will prepare technical-commercial proposals, system configurations, and cost estimates that align with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • You will negotiate commercial terms, manage the sales process, and close capital equipment and solution-selling opportunities.
  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to share market insights, customer feedback, and competitor intelligence that support business growth and customer value.
Expectations for you
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Technology, or a related technical field. An MBA is considered an advantage.
  • You have 5-8 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or product management within stock preparation systems, pulp and paper machinery, or industrial process equipment.
  • You have a strong understanding of stock preparation processes and can interpret P&IDs, layout drawings, technical specifications, and develop technical proposals.
  • You have demonstrated success in solution selling, capital equipment sales, customer account planning, and commercial negotiations.
  • You are willing to travel extensively across Australia and New Zealand (50-70%).
To succeed in this role

Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge of stock preparation systems combined with the ability to translate customer challenges into value-adding solutions. You will need experience working with pulp and paper mills, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build trusted customer relationships across the ANZ market. Your ability to understand customer processes, develop compelling proposals, and drive opportunities from prospecting through closing will be critical.
