About the Role

We’re looking for a Product and Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing and Analysis team on a 12 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Pricing Manager, you will play a critical role in managing our product and pricing framework to reduce complexity and increase effectiveness across our retail offerings.

In this role, you’ll act as a crucial link across pricing, finance, sales, and operational teams to drive overall business strategy and product performance. You will analyse external cost structures, optimise pricing frameworks, and ensure accurate pricing assumptions inform broader commercial forecasting and decision making. This is a unique opportunity to work on high visibility projects including the development of our new electricity pricing and budgeting model while managing regular ongoing tasks that directly impact our sales success and customer experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to the development of pricing strategies for new and existing customers
  • Monitor costs, competitive position and regulatory changes to ensure accuracy of pricing model assumptions 
  • Work with internal reporting and development teams to create adhoc reports
  • Present pricing data and insights to internal stakeholders  
  • Contribute to month-end explanations, reporting, and ad hoc presentations for management
  • Liaise with operational teams to ensure the accurate price implementation.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience (e.g. Business Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or Finance Analyst etc) in the energy industry (mandatory)
  • Experience building and maintaining pricing/financial models. Experience with SQL based models preferred 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a knack for investigating and solving complex data problems.
  • The ability to "hit the ground running" in a fast-paced environment
  • A relevant degree in Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, or Data Analysis is desirable
