The opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Owner to join QBE on a 12‑month fixed term contract in the AUSPAC Claims business unit. This role plays a critical part in shaping and delivering user‑focused digital solutions that support both business and partner systems.

Your new role 

  • Define and articulate the product and service vision aligned to customer needs and business objectives

  • Partner with business stakeholders and agile scrum teams to shape priorities and deliver the product roadmap

  • Translate strategic goals into actionable outcomes through cross‑functional delivery

  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of user needs, motivations, and behaviours to inform decision‑making

  • Communicate progress and outcomes through showcases, stand‑ups, and visual management tools

  • Build strong partnerships across digital, innovation, marketing, and technology teams

  • Champion agile principles and ways of working to drive quality, consistency, and efficiency

About you 

  • Experience developing, implementing, and managing digital products or technologies

  • Strong experience working in agile environments, particularly using the Scrum framework

  • Demonstrated capability delivering and embedding digital initiatives across complex environments

  • Experience developing business cases or business plans to support digital delivery

  • Experience within financial services or insurance (desirable)
