Howdy, we're Heidi 👋

"The AI startup growing faster than Canva."

That's what the Financial Review called us. In one year, we hit $15M ARR and became one of the fastest-growing companies in the world.

Two years ago, we pivoted from broad healthcare AI to building Earth's finest clinical exoskeleton. Today we support over 2 million patient sessions weekly across 50+ countries. Hundreds of thousands of clinicians use Heidi to complete documentation.

Our mission is simple: double care capacity by eradicating non-clinically-useful busywork.

That's where you come in.

The Role

You'll transform Heidi from a single-player tool into a multiplayer platform for clinical teams — building direct sharing, team management, and collaborative workflows that enterprise customers are waiting for today.

You'll enable registrars to share notes with consultants for sign-off, assistants to review and edit documentation on behalf of physicians, and multi-specialty teams to collaborate seamlessly on shared patients. These are the capabilities that turn individual Heidi users into connected clinical teams.

This is core product work with immediate customer impact. You'll unlock deals with major health systems while laying the foundation for how teams collaborate in Heidi for years to come. And because collaboration features are growth features, every share is an invitation — you'll be building the viral loops that drive Heidi's mission to double healthcare capacity globally.

What you'll do

  • Define and own the strategy and roadmap for Teams & Collaboration, including direct sharing, team management, and collaborative workflows.

  • Ship features that enable clinical teams to jointly contribute to patient care — registrars sharing notes with consultants, nurses editing documentation, multi-specialty collaboration.

  • Work closely with Design to create delightful experiences that make collaboration feel effortless.

  • Partner closely with enterprise customers to deeply understand their workflows and build the best collaboration experience.

  • Partner with Product Growth to design collaboration features that drive viral adoption.

  • Partner with the Permissions Platform PM to deliver customer outcomes together — bringing user insights to shape platform priorities, and leveraging platform capabilities to ship faster.

  • Balance immediate enterprise deal requirements with longer-term product vision.

What you'll need

  • 3-5+ years PM experience, with at least 2+ years building collaboration, team, or multi-user product features.

  • Strong product sense and UX intuition — ability to craft experiences that feel natural and reduce friction.

  • Experience shipping features in enterprise or B2B SaaS environments.

  • Ability to move fast while maintaining quality — comfortable shipping MVPs and iterating quickly.

  • Strong customer empathy and ability to translate user needs into product requirements.

  • Growth mindset — thinks about how product features drive acquisition and activation.

  • Healthcare or clinical workflow experience is strongly preferred.

If we'd worked together the last 6 weeks, you'd have:

  • Shipped direct session sharing for a major Local Health District, enabling registrars to share notes with consultants for review and editing.

  • Worked with Design to craft advanced session filtering that helps assistants manage documentation across multiple clinicians.

  • Interviewed clinical teams to understand how collaboration patterns differ between private practices and hospital departments.

  • Partnered with Sales to understand enterprise deal blockers and prioritized features that unblock immediate revenue.

  • Partnered with the Permissions Platform PM to prioritize which platform capabilities to build next, based on what customers need most.

  • Worked with Product Growth to instrument sharing flows and identify opportunities to improve viral conversion.

Why Heidi?

Our health systems hurt everybody. Systems are log-jammed, clinicians' lives degrade in quality, and patients churn through the meat-grinder.

This is neither a special nor interesting insight.

But it means we're solving a real problem. Hundreds of thousands of clinicians use Heidi. Every clinician using Heidi gets hours back in their day. That's the starting point to build the product of your dreams: immense distribution, and a world of potential.

You'll join a team that doesn't celebrate fundraise milestones or glossy PR. We live and breathe the pain of modern health systems and won't rest until we've exacted the change we'd like to see.

The bad news: it's not an easy job — you'll tear your hair out more than once. Modern tech concepts don't transpose easily into healthcare. The lows are really low.

The good news: you'll trust and admire everyone you work with, and know you're doing the defining work of your career. The highs are blindingly high.
Heidi will take care of you: equity, growth, wellness perks, and the chance to progress fast if you're an A-player.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
