The mission of Enterprise Technology is to increase productivity and accelerate delivery of software and services for both Woven by Toyota and the larger Toyota Group. We do this by building and integrating best of breed cutting-edge technologies to help engineering teams deliver safe, secure software faster. By providing modern, agile, and transparent services to our customers, we aim to realize Woven by Toyota’s vision: ”Mobility to Love, Safety to Live”. As a key member of the product management team for Enterprise Technology, you will report to the Group Product Manager and will drive product management for an important software development & collaboration platform that is widely used within Woven and across Toyota.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a seasoned product manager who has experience building feature rich products. You focus on creating value for the customer, and are able to produce and contribute to product vision & strategy with your customers in mind. You are detail-oriented whilst not losing sight of the larger imperatives, ensuring alignment with strategic direction. You can get the best ideas out of stakeholders, and manage requirements and priorities. You obsess about the users of your products and place them at the center of everything you do - in this case closely engaging with users across Toyota Group and Woven. You are experienced in working with cross-cultural customers and teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand customers and users’ needs and productivity blockers, working cross-functionally to devise solutions for the software development & collaboration platform
  • Develop and contribute to the product vision, strategy, and metrics
  • Work with customers, key users, and business stakeholders to incorporate and manage requirements and prioritization
  • Create and continuously refine product roadmap, actionable requirements, and user stories
  • Develop a deep understanding of your customers and users, by continuously tracking usage analytics, maintaining feedback loops, and collecting in-depth insights
  • Represent the voice of the customer to internal teams, helping to better understand use cases, personas, challenges, and opportunities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience with modern agile software development, cloud native development, and engineering practices.
  • Technical experience with software engineering, and/or product management experience of a platform product
  • Track record in working across different business cultures, particularly interacting with Japanese customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Business level written and spoken English and Japanese language proficiency.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Good understanding of concepts like microservice architecture, containers, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes.
  • Experience working on Business-to-Business or Business-to-Employee type of product within a corporate environment.
  • Experience in user-centered design and user experience (UX).
  • Strong communication, influencing, facilitation, and presentation skills.
