Your Team

Within Retail Banking Services (RBS) the Customer Identity & Digital Trust Services Domain builds scalable services for consumption across the Enterprise including CBA’s market leading CommBank app, and its desktop asset Netbank, as well as into other business lines such as Business Banking, frontline applications and partners.

Your impact and contribution

As a Product Manager, you will be an experienced professional who is driven by a desire to execute on the vision to deliver exceptional customer identity experiences to our customers. Drawing from your strong digital delivery experience, you’re constantly pushing the boundaries to help deliver outcomes that fundamentally shift the customer experience and unlock more value. Your passion for and ability to solve complex problems is key to delivering these high-quality solutions to market.

You will partner with Group Security and Retail Technology to contribute to the vision and product strategy and roadmap of customer identity and digital security for the digital assets that serve our customer segments in CBA.  You will continuously define ways to build strong preventative controls that protect customers and make CBA the safest place for customers to manage their money. 

You will be an innovator who is willing to roll up their sleeves and dive into complex technical and organisational challenges, making decisions with data.

You will have strong experience in identity and authentication solutions, protocols/standards and products. 

You will continually develop, innovate and adapt the identity and authentication strategy and roadmap, with consideration of the latest industry developments and alignment to the organisation strategic goals. You will be expected to track industry trends and the competitive landscape, as well as be responsible for the performance and measurement of product/service effectiveness. 

You have a high tolerance for complexity and ambiguity coupled with the resilience and tenacity to see things through.  You have experience working in a fast paced, agile environment and use leading practices with an appreciation for the value of continuous delivery and user testing.

We’re interested in hearing from an experienced senior leader with relevant skills and experience including:

  • A senior strategic professional with proven leadership, influencing and facilitation capabilities

  • Experience in building digital experiences to strengthen digital security, identity verification and authentication.  Knowledge of biometric authentication technologies desirable

  • Experience with leading the complete product lifecycle from conception to launch, ongoing measurement and continuous evolution

  • Excellent analytical capability and strong commercial acumen

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Proven results in introducing innovative technology and digital security solutions to strengthen controls in preventing fraud and scams

  • Expert written communication and presentation skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills – collaboration, influencing, negotiation, conflict resolution.
