With over $2 billion in Green Star and ISCA-certified projects, we lead the way in sustainability strategy and innovation. From concept to construction and beyond, we help clients tackle critical challenges—integrating environmental considerations into every phase of delivery.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Sustainability Advisor to join our National Sustainability team. In this senior role, you’ll lead sustainability input, advice, and expertise across major infrastructure projects—including water, rail, and road—as well as global Net Zero initiatives and defence projects.

  • Drive adoption of sustainability initiatives during design and construction phases.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver positive environmental and community outcomes.
  • Manage project planning, cost estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, and client reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants while advising senior management.
  • Contribute to business development through proposals, budgets, and stakeholder engagement.

Who You Are

You’re a seasoned sustainability professional with a proven track record in infrastructure projects. You thrive on collaboration, leadership, and innovation, and you’re motivated by the success of your team. You bring integrity, accountability, and strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver results.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental engineering, or similar.
  • Extensive experience in sustainability consulting within the infrastructure sector.
  • Familiarity with Green Star or ISC rating tools (highly regarded).
  • Strong stakeholder management and business development experience.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and deadlines.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
