Role:

SentiLink is seeking an experienced fraud leader to serve as a trusted advisor to prospective customers, primarily large financial institutions and other financial-services organizations.

In this role, you will engage directly with fraud, risk, identity, and financial-crime executives to understand their challenges and help them determine how SentiLink’s products can be operationalized within their existing workflows. You will bring practical experience from the field to customer conversations, connecting fraud strategy, risk operations, technology, and business outcomes.

You will help prospects think through questions such as:

  • Where SentiLink’s products fit within their fraud and identity-risk processes

  • How to integrate our solutions into existing systems, teams, and decisioning workflows

  • How to design effective operating models, controls, and escalation paths

  • How to measure impact across fraud loss, customer experience, operational efficiency, and risk

This is a highly consultative, customer-facing role. Success will require the credibility to engage senior executives, the practical judgment to translate complex fraud challenges into actionable recommendations, and the ability to collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a fraud subject-matter expert in conversations with prospective customers.

  • Build trusted relationships with fraud, risk, identity, payments, and financial-crime executives.

  • Lead discovery conversations to understand customers’ fraud strategies, workflows, pain points, and priorities.

  • Advise prospects on how to incorporate SentiLink’s products into their operational and technology environments.

  • Translate customer needs into clear recommendations for product configuration, workflow design, implementation, and change management.

  • Support sales engagements, executive briefings, workshops, demonstrations, and responses to complex customer questions.

  • Partner with Sales to develop compelling, credible, and outcome-oriented customer narratives.

  • Share customer insights with Product and Engineering to inform roadmap priorities and solution design.

  • Help establish best practices for fraud prevention, identity verification, risk management, and financial-crime operations.

  • Represent SentiLink at industry events, customer meetings, and other external forums.

  • Track emerging fraud patterns, attack techniques, regulatory developments, and industry practices.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in fraud, fraud risk, financial crime, identity, trust and safety, or a related field.

  • Significant experience in a senior fraud leadership or practitioner role within a bank, lender, payments company, fintech,, or other regulated financial-services organization.

  • Deep understanding of fraud operations, risk decisioning, identity, investigations, or financial-crime processes.

  • Experience designing, managing, or improving fraud workflows and operating models.

  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and credibility quickly with senior executives.

  • Strong understanding of how fraud teams evaluate, implement, and operationalize technology solutions.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to translate complex fraud and technical concepts for executive, operational, and technical audiences.

  • Strong commercial judgment and comfort operating in a consultative, customer-facing environment.

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

  • High ownership, sound judgment, and a bias toward action.

  • Deep curiosity about evolving fraud tactics, identity risk, and the broader risk landscape.

Compensation:

$180,000–$250,000 base + equity + benefits

Actual compensation will depend on experience, level, and the scope of the role ultimately aligned during the hiring process.

Perks:
  • Employer paid group health insurance for you and your dependents

  • 401(k) plan with employer match (or equivalent for non US-based roles)

  • Flexible paid time off

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
