  • Engineer event-driven integrations and automation pipelines across security platforms, SIEMs, cloud services, and business systems.
  • Create scalable tooling, ChatOps solutions, and self-service capabilities that empower analysts, consultants, and operational teams.
  • Partner with technical, delivery, and sales teams to solve complex customer challenges and accelerate adoption of innovative security services

  • Strong proficiency in Python development, API integration, automation frameworks, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Hands-on experience building generative AI applications, AI agents, semantic search solutions, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) capabilities
  • Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services, including AI, serverless, security, integration, and data services, with the ability to design secure and scalable architectures
  • Experience developing and optimising automation, search, and telemetry pipelines that support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, security operations, threat management, and secure-by-design engineering practices.
  • The ability to translate complex technical challenges into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to collaborate across engineering, operations, product, sales, and customer-facing teams
  • A curious and innovative mindset, balanced by sound judgement, accountability, and a commitment to quality and operational excellence.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
