This is your opportunity to step into a high‑impact Pricing Analyst role at Hastings Deering where your insights shape commercial decisions at scale.

Based at our Archerfield head office, this permanent Monday to Friday position puts you at the centre of pricing strategy, performance and profitability across the business.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you will:

  • Create, maintain and govern price files by offer and supply source, aligned to major pricing cycles
  • Deliver gross profit and margin insights through data consolidation and BI reporting
  • Maintain pricing databases supporting part replacements, supersessions and catalogues
  • Build gross profit models comparing actual vs theoretical performance at part‑number level
  • Analyse product performance, margin leakage, volume sensitivity and pricing effectiveness
  • Develop tools that improve pricing consistency, governance and repeatability
  • Analyse pricing, margin and competitiveness by product model and component cost
  • Develop core sell‑price recommendations using market and competitor analysis
  • Complete biannual sell‑price reviews ensuring pricing structure and hierarchy integrity
  • Provide responsive ad hoc pricing support for new parts, escalations and performance issues
     

What you’ll need:

A successful teammate will have experience in: 

  • Background in pricing, commercial analysis, finance or analytics
  • Strong data science / analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; BI/reporting experience desirable
  • Comfortable working with large, detailed datasets
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Ability to turn data into clear commercial insights
  • Experience within a similar industry is highly desirable
