We’re looking for a PR & Social Media Specialist to supports the development and lead the execution of Arc’teryx’s earned-first and social media strategy across ANZ, creating culturally relevant ideas and moments that grow brand visibility, relevance and engagement.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Brand Communication Manager, this highly hands-on role will bring Arc’teryx’s brand position, product stories and key priorities to life through earned ideas, activations, events, partnerships, PR and strategic, content-led social media lead and develop a multi-disciplinary Brand Marketing team spanning Brand Management, PR, Social Media and Creative & Content.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support the development and lead the execution of Arc’teryx’s earned-first strategy across ANZ.
  • Develop culturally relevant ideas and moments that earn attention and grow brand visibility and relevance.
  • Identify opportunities across activations, events, partnerships, PR, publishers and cultural platforms.
  • Support the development and lead the execution of the ANZ social media strategy.
  • Build forward-planned, strategic and content-led social plans that communicate Arc’teryx’s brand position and grow cultural relevance.
  • Lead the day-to-day management and performance of Arc’teryx ANZ social channels.
  • Develop earned and social strategies that bring major brand moments, product launches and Arc’teryx Brand Core Gear to life.
  • Build culturally relevant ways to communicate Arc’teryx’s position as a pinnacle mountain brand and innovator.
  • Develop and deliver earned-first activations, events and cultural moments designed to generate attention and organic amplification.
  • Identify relevant cultural, publisher and brand partnership opportunities that extend Arc’teryx’s reach and relevance
  • Identify compelling brand and product stories with strong earned potential.
  • Build proactive relationships across media, publishers, cultural platforms and tastemakers
  • Monitor earned, cultural and social performance and identify clear learnings and opportunities.
  • Track social reach, engagement, audience growth, earned reach and organic amplification.
What You Bring
  • Strong earned marketing, PR and social media experience within premium, cultural, fashion, lifestyle or leading consumer brands.
  • Demonstrated experience developing culturally relevant, earned-first brand ideas and activations.
  • Strong creative thinker with a deep understanding of how brands earn attention and participate in culture.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic, content-led social media strategies.
  • Proven experience growing social channels through distinctive content and strong channel strategy.
  • Can take short-form videos end to end: concept, shoot, edit, publish.
  • Strong understanding of culture, social platforms, audience behaviour and emerging trends.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, PR or a related field
  • A genuine passion for the outdoors and living the brand authentically
