YETI is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven, Planner who can utilize historical data and forward strategy to forecast our sales and inventory across multiple channels and regions to support our continued growth. You will manage the investment in inventory for assigned categories, whilst analyzing category performance and identifying opportunities for continual improvement in sales, stock-turn and stock position.
You will be a key voice and influence across your category, by providing category insights and stories that align to overall business objectives. You will facilitate range reviews, providing valuable feedback and insights to the team to adapt and adjust.
You are responsible for the right stock, in the right place, at the right time by maintaining and submitting our monthly demand plan, identifying and acting on stock opportunities and allocating stock to the correct channels and regions. This is a collaborative role, working closely with the Operations , Sales and Wholesale partners, as well as with the key stakeholders across YETI globally. You will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and a results-driven mindset.
Responsibilities:

Demand Planning: Updating, maintaining, and submitting our monthly demand plan

Analyse sales trends, market data and historical performance to develop accurate demand forecasts

Collaborate with sales, marketing and operations to align forecasts with business objectives

Monitor and adjust forecasts based on market changes, marketing/events activities and feedback
-
Ensuring inventory levels are optimised to meet demand whilst minimising costs and stock-out
-
Identify risks and opportunities in the demand planning process and recommend solutions to improve for better results

Reporting: Create, maintain & interpret reports and action based on business requirements to support strategic decision making

Analyse and validate stock replenishment with global supply team to maintain optimal stock levels

Assist in the development and execution of GTM plans to meet sales targets and drive product/category strategy

Analyse and look for opportunities globally and applying insights to local market

Conduct in-season performance reviews and recommendations to achieve sell-through

Develop and maintain plans for key products and manage optimal inventory levels

Allocation & replenishment: Support in managing allocations across all channels and markets

Teamwork: work collaboratively and build strong relationships with multiple teams within the business

Lead the development and execution of YETI’s ANZ category strategy, including product mix, pricing, promotion and distribution

Drive sales and margin growth through effective category management practices to enhance customer experience and achieve commercial objectives

Develop and implement strategies for categories and channels including product mix, positioning, product life-cycle and key selling strategies (in collaboration with Wholesale, Marketing and Digital)

Drive alignment and transparency with the Sales, Marketing, Product/Merchandising teams, with a focus to improve customer experience and drive sales across all customer segments and channels

Leverage data and insights to understand customer trends, driving continuous improvement and sustainable brand growth

Collaborate across teams to ensure efficient on-time delivery of products, marketing campaigns and promotions in-line with business objectives
Qualifications and Attributes:
-
At least 2+ years’ experience in planning or demand planning in Fashion Retail, FMCG or large format retailer with multiple channels and markets

Bachelor’s degree highly desired in related fields (Supply Chain, Finance, Business), but not essential based on field experience

Advanced Excel Skills

Experience using BI tools (eg Power BI, Tableau) and IBP advantageous
-
Extensive analytical and reporting experience

Strong ability to interpret data and results, and turning this into action

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to problem solve and be agile

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong commercial acumen

Strong time management and organizational skills

Must be a team player, able to work within tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
