Company Description

We’re looking for two Phone Sales Officers to join our team at our Cranbourne branch. JAS Oceania is a National Wholesaler of Automotive Rotating Electrical, Air-Conditioning, Accessories and Lighting products, servicing the Auto Electrical sector.This is a customer‑focused role where you’ll be the first point of contact for phone‑based sales enquiries, supporting customers and account managers with parts advice, order processing, and exceptional service.

Job Description

About the Role

As a Phone Sales Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting branch sales through phone‑based customer service and order processing. You’ll work closely with the wider branch team, assisting customers with parts enquiries while also supporting general storeperson duties as required.

This role suits someone with a background in parts, automotive, mechanical or electrical products — or someone keen to build experience in the industry.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and support branch phone‑based sales
  • Respond to inbound calls from customers and account managers to support sales outcomes
  • Process invoices, credits and orders accurately
  • Assist with stock management, including shelving, pallet racking and stock counts
  • Support general branch and warehouse operations as required

Additional Information

About You

  • Strong communication skills with a genuine customer service focus
  • Reliable, adaptable and able to work as part of a driven, diverse team
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or exposure to automotive, mechanical or electrical parts is highly regarded
  • Willingness to support all areas of the business when required
