Job Description

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy while providing exceptional service to customers and patients. This position is based across our two Ramsay Pharmacy locations in Balaclava and Glen Huntly. The successful candidate will be required to work across both sites as part of their regular roster.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting customers with over-the-counter products and general enquiries
  • Processing sales and handling transactions accurately
  • Replenishing stock and maintaining merchandising displays
  • Supporting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with daily operations
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant work environment
  • Assisting with stock control and inventory management

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate II in community Pharmacy and S2/S3 qualification
  • Previous working experience in pharmacy or retail setting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster
