Job Description:
Mars as an exciting opportunity for a Pet Owner CRM & Data Manager to join us in our Royal Canin Segment. Reporting to the Brand & Pet Owner Director, you’ll lead the data, CRM and tech strategy for acquiring and retaining pet parents across Australia and New Zealand.
The role focuses on growing our B2C CRM database, delivering personalized communication at scale, and building strong pet parent loyalty. You will be a key part of the journey to next generation brand building with the aim of transforming our One Demand digital capability to deliver a connected omnichannel experience for Pet Parents.
When the above technology is fully in play, the role will also be responsible for developing the communication strategies and designing the creative to utilise the data to drive retention with consumers and strengthen relationships with stakeholders in the broader Royal Canin ecosystem. This role is also responsible for Royal Canin’s growing marketing tech stack, supporting the other pillars of the business in utilising these tools to engage the brand’s trusted recommenders including Veterinarians and Breeders.
What are we looking for?

Qualification in marketing, communications or data science OR a minimum of 8 years’ hands on experience in marketing, with an emphasis in the digital/CRM space.

8+ years’ experience working in digital marketing / advertising, social media and digital analytics (preferred)

Experience managing CRMs, ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Microsoft Dynamics, Adobe Marketo or similar

Strong working knowledge of websites, digital advertising platforms, email, and analytics software (such as Google Analytics)

Agile project management experience would be a plus
What would be your key responsibilities?

Lead the development and execution of a new B2C CRM Ecosystem

Ownership of current global and local Martech landscape to identify opportunities, negotiate deliveries and optimize adoptions and dependencies

Manage the full pet owner lifecycle, from segmentation to content planning

Drive consumer lifetime value strategies through innovative CRM solutions

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to boost shopper retention

Oversee data quality and ensure compliance with global privacy standards

Collaborate with regional and global teams to deploy cutting-edge marketing tools
