We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a People Technology Manager UKG. This role will report to the Executive Manager People Technology.
A bit about your role
As the People Technology Manager UKG, you will lead the development and execution of the UKG Workforce Management roadmap for the People Technology team. This is a truly collaborative role—connecting, influencing, and co-creating across the organisation to ensure our systems reflect and support the evolving needs of our people. You will be work closely with People and Culture leaders, technical stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex business needs into future-ready technology solutions that are scalable and fit for purpose.
This role is the go-to partner for all things UKG—guiding platform direction, resolving issues with care and clarity, and identifying opportunities to enrich functionality. Your leadership will shape the platform’s future capabilities while ensuring it remains compliant with legislation and aligned with nbn’s broader vision. With a blend of strategic foresight and hands-on expertise, you will elevate the impact of People Technology, strengthening the bridge between people, process, and product.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of UKG Workforce Management including a good understanding of system current and future capability, and implementation experience is desired. You have a strong capability to solve complex business problems through effective, user-centred technology solutions. With a future-focused mindset and a keen ability to assess, optimise, and shape platform direction, you are always thinking one step ahead.
Your empathetic and engaging communication style allows you to naturally build trust with stakeholders and work with them to co-design solutions that are practical, human-centred, and aligned with business goals. You are both strategic and hands-on—a natural integrator who can think big while confidently navigating the details. You thrive in agile environments, and you care deeply about making systems better for people.
