As the People Systems & Automation Lead, you’ll play a critical role in driving the efficiency of our core HRIS (Workday) and as the Product Owner for all People & Culture systems. You will be the custodian of people data and responsible for the overall data integrity and functionality of People & Culture systems.
You will be an energetic creator of efficiency and automation as we uplift our system capability and move to an AI-first posture. You will be a guiding and supportive leader to the People Operations Specialist.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
People Systems Ownership
- Product owner for all People & Culture systems, including Workday ensuring flow of data and integrations as required.
- Responsible for the overall functionality of People & Culture systems.
- Work closely with the Payroll Lead to ensure integration of People systems with payroll systems and processes.
- Creation of a People & Culture systems roadmap that continuously improves and optimises functionality, AI, automation, cost, integration and employee experience.
- Deep dive investigation into Latitude’s current HRIS (Workday) configuration and provide plan and action to uplift capability.
- As changes to People & Culture systems may occur, facilitate UAT and other end to end systems management as required.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures to ensure processes are mapped out and our business understands how to use our People & Culture systems.
Continuous Improvement – Automation and AI
- Drive continued automation, process improvements to enhance the employee experience.
- Partner with stakeholders to shape a strategy that supports continuous improvement.
- Engage with internal and external partners to trouble-shoot system queries.
- Train and support the People & Culture team to improve their data and systems knowledge.
- Optimise system solutions, including problem analysis, scoping, planning, resourcing and governance.
Reporting and Employee Direct Action Uplift
- Establish and embed Workday Dashboards and Hubs for key customer groups.
- Lead program of work towards leveraging software tools, including MS CoPilot, to automate existing business processes.
- Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards for People and Culture, Board, Remuneration & People Committee, Management and the business.
- Work to support collation of data required for the annual WGEA report submission.
Data Management
- Custodian of people data and responsible for the overall data integrity, including maintenance of key master data files.
- Ensure data is complete and accurate (e.g. data cleaning), and keep up to date with Latitude’s requirements and ensure data is collected, formatted and stored to requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with the business to understand people system gaps and needs, building the roadmap to implementing solutions in a planned and executable manner.
- Regular reporting to the business and external agencies as required. Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time

About You:
- Strong systems experience, with minimum 5 years direct experience with Workday
- Degree qualified, preferably in HR or Systems.
- Experience working with complex systems and integrations.
- Experience developing and delivering Artificial Intelligence solutions in a P&C environment.
- Preparing and analysing data and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience and / or exposure through a direct or indirect working relationship with Payroll, P&C Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development and Remuneration and Benefits.
- Ability to identify organisational and process improvement needs and design options.
- Experience in complex problem solving and decision making in addition to engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly analytical with excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Experience with Analytics and proficiency in business intelligence and visualisation systems (e.g. Power BI) considered favourably, along with high proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong communicator who can translate technical information for stakeholders.
- Strong critical thinking skills with ability to build trust, negotiate and influence stakeholders.

- Team player, who collaborates effectively and enjoys partnering with diverse.
- Customer focused, high attention to detail and ability to problem solve independently
