How you will contribute
Whilst this role is based in Dandenong South, the role is a critical partner to both our Manufacturing teams at our Dandenong South and Suttontown sites. They are famous for manufacturing OB Finest, Olina's, CrispBic, and Philadelphia cream cheese.
Leading the onsite People function and partnering with the business to define and implement activities to drive employee engagement, you will be excited to build a high-performance culture, building capability, whilst enabling the delivery of the business strategy.
This will ensure you are contributing to defining and implementing the necessary cultural changes as it applies to the sites. As a member of the Dandenong Plant lead team, you will focus on supporting building capability.

How you will contribute
HR Generalist Activities
- Improvement of employee engagement via a range of plans and actions
- Building capability of the broader site LT whilst delivering local training programs, including the role out of Front-line Leader capability training at Sites.
- Mondelez HR calendar of events including Strategic Talent Review and Succession Planning; Goal Setting Alignment and Review; Performance Calibration; Development Planning; Growing Here Week
- Contribute to the development and growth of the business through all aspects of the sites and play a leadership role on the Plant LT
Employee Relations Activities
- Understand the Employee Relations agenda, including all grievance and dispute management processes; ER strategy first point of contact for site-based ER cases
- ER case support
Supply Chain Communication
- Manage all Supply Chain communications, partnering with Site Leads, CGA and regional team
- Planned and coordinated DEI activations at a site level to increase awareness of MDLZ ANZ DEI pillars
- Plan MSC Townhalls quarterly and monthly prioritising/promoting transparent communication between MSC leaders and colleagues
- Actively participating in the MSC ANZ Culture Committee to drive further awareness at sites concerning DEI and employee engagement initiatives
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
- HR / People & Culture generalist experience 4+ years
- IR/ER policies and practices in Australian jurisdiction
- Communicating effectively, applying interpersonal skills and taking initiative
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong capability in blending strategic and action orientation
- HR / Business degree qualified or equivalent experience
