We’re looking for a People & Safety Coordinator to join our team: someone who is organised, approachable and genuinely passionate about creating a positive employee experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their HR career who is looking to build their capability in a supportive, collaborative environment.

The role
Working closely with our People & Safety Business Partners, you’ll support the full employee lifecycle and be a go-to for day-to-day HR coordination. From onboarding new starters to assisting with people-initiatives, you’ll help ensure our processes run smoothly and our people feel supported.

What you’ll be doing

  • Preparing employment contracts, letters and HR documentation
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding to create a seamless experience
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and managing HR systems (Connx & UKG)
  • Managing the People & Safety inbox and responding to first-level queries (leave, policies, etc.)
  • Assisting with HR reporting and metrics
  • Supporting audits (casuals, visas, fixed-term contracts)
  • Providing coordination and admin support on employee relations matters
  • Contributing to key people initiatives such as performance and remuneration reviews

 

About you

You’re someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in delivering high-quality, detail-oriented work. You’re organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


You’ll also bring:

  • Previous experience in an HR support or coordination role (around 2–3 years)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A customer-first mindset and a willingness to learn
  • Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Exposure to HR systems (UKG experience is a bonus)
  • A foundational understanding of HR processes and employment legislatio
